Do you need to be CPR certified for work. Do you want to learn CPR?

Linwood Ambulance Service wants to help.

We will be holding CPR classes the first Monday of each Month from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. The cost is $35 per person (covers take home book, pocket mask, CPR card, etc.). You only need to attend one class. Classes will be held at the ambulance station at 12 Profile Drive in North Woodstock (behind Kancamagus Collectibles [old IGA]).

The American Heart Association reports four important links in the chain of survival.

1. Early access - Call 911
2. Early CPR - Push hard, push fast
3. Early defibrillation- Use of AED
4. Early Advanced care

So YOU can be a vital part, three of the four links could be done before the ambulance arrives. Call today to reserve your spot in the class.

Please RSVP the ambulance business phone at 745-3904. It is important for us to know how many will attend so we can have enough books, materials and an appropriate student/instructor ratio. Have questions call 745-3904.

Free blood pressure clinic

at the Father Roger Bilodeau Community Center the third Wednesday of each month from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

Vial of Life

Linwood Ambulance Service is happy to participate in the Vial of Life project.  The Vial of Life is designed to speak for you when you can't speak for yourself. The vial contains important medical information that can assist EMT's and Paramedics to give you treatment that is best for you.  There is a form to fill out for your medical history, current medications, contact information, and allergies.  You may want to add your DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) or living will to the kit.  Some times during an emergency the patient is unable to speak or in a stressful situation may have trouble recalling information.  This Vial of Life is helpful information that the EMT's and Paramedics are trained to look for.  Please contact Linwood Ambulance Service at 745-3904 for more information.  Kits are available at the Linwood Medical Center, Father Roger Bilodeau Community Center and from Linwood Ambulance Service.
