Linwood Ambulance Service honored two long time volunteers by inducting them into the newly created “Lifetime Members”.
Rita Rand was recognized for 30 years of service to the Linwood Medical Center Board of Directors. Mrs. Rand is now the first Lifetime Member of the Linwood Medical Center Board of Directors. Jane Duguay was acknowledged for 20 years of service as an EMT with Linwood Ambulance Service. Duguay is the first Lifetime Member of Linwood Ambulance Service. Both ladies retired in 2009.
Their awards were given on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 during our open house with the chamber of commerce. For their years of dedication, each received a personal plaque. There is also a perpetual plaque, inscribed with the words “Their years of outstanding dedication will be appreciated evermore,” for each organization. The ambulance service will now be looking in the history books to find others who meet the criteria. Congratulations!!
